Or maybe being able to shove nearly 50GB of data onto one CD for backups that can't perform a head crash? or maybe for future proofing? Don't cry because daddy didn't buy you one Versus =p |

Personally, I trust CDs and DVDs even less than I trust hard drives.

Unless you're buying a nice monitor TV that you can hook up your PC to, I see no point in buying a blu-ray drive for a computer.
