What parts do you really need? $600 can get you a nice mobo/proc and vidja card if you can salvage the rest off your current rig, if not you will have to shell out for the necessaries. I'm quite sure that most mobos will accommodate most graphics cards though. Re: suggest parts for new rig - Vandamguy - 03-10-2010 i like that psu cabling. what PSU is it ? Re: suggest parts for new rig - copulatingduck - 03-10-2010 i've always heard modular cabling is a lot less efficient, but damn does that look good Re: suggest parts for new rig - zaneyard - 03-10-2010 (03-10-2010, 10:22 AM)Duck link Wrote: i've always heard modular cabling is a lot less efficient, but damn does that look goodToms hardware did a test on it, that presumption is pretty much false also yes PCI-E 2.0 is the standard for graphics cards right now if your mobo doesn't have it your doin it rong Re: suggest parts for new rig - Vandamguy - 03-10-2010 i thought i heard that AGP was coming back , not old agp , but some revised version of it Re: suggest parts for new rig - Didzo - 03-10-2010 (03-10-2010, 09:09 AM)Vandamguy link Wrote: i like that psu cabling.Thermaltake Toughpower XT W0229RU 750W ATX12V V2.3 80PLUS BRONZE ATI CrossFireX Certified AMD GAME READY FanDelayCool Modular Power Supply It comes with plenty of good looking, labeled cables...
