Saline helps create an antiseptic climate in the nose to kill off the bugs. Do it everyday to keep the rates of sinus problems down. Man up.

I've never had a sinus problem before, so I have no plans on simulating drowning.

I am actually very interested in this pot and should get one soon.
I end up having sinus issues all the time and I don't want medication for it. Nasal sprays don't do much of anything, and I'm sick of spending several months a year generally feeling like shit. I'm sick of the post-nasal drip as well.
Might take some courage to use it though. It does look intimidating somehow. But still, if it helps it helps.

Luin I was a bit Neti Pot afraid but to be honest it's way more comfortable/less painful than the spray. It just feels strange. After it feels pretty good. Just don't cheap out on the pot like I did, had to blow bits of plastic out my nose >
