THE THREAD HAS BEEN CONVERTED
So, being stupid, I didn't know that you 'discovered' blueprints by just crafting the items themselves; I thought you could only discover blueprints via rare random drops or something. Anyways, after kicking myself in the shin somehow and deciding what to do, I had a moment of insanity: Rebuild all my hats.
Right now, I was looking at: Troublemaker's Tosslecap for Scoot, Engineer's Cap, Engineer's Texas Ten Gallon (which I had just found overnight on Yellow) , Sniper's Sola Topi, and Spy's Camera Beard.
After much deliberation, I decided to rebuild my least favorite hats: Sola Topi and Engineer's Cap. After hitting the button and faithfully clicking that 'OK' button, I was awarded...
Texas Slim's Dome Shine. What a fucking ripoff, I already had the other two engineer hats.
Fuck that, I'm crafting this with Camera Beard. I love you Spy, but we need to seek different partners.
I fluidly drag the dome shine to the craft window, and slowly drag my camera beard there as well Â
and hit 'craft'.The window pops up, asking me to hit OK.
I slowly move to the OK button. I press it. The window showing me my bounty displays...Triboniophorus Tyrannus! HOLY SHIT! The BEST HAT IN THE GAME. (Apologies to Fancy Fedora and Camera Beard.)
The TF2 gods smiled upon me today, for I am a much richer man than yesterday.

Wrong, Hustler's Hallmark is the best hat in the game.
Speaking of Hustler's Hallmark, i crafted an ushanka and 1 of my 2 hotrods, and got that. This was good and bad because although i got my favorite hat in the game, I lost the ushanka, my old favorite. It was late so i went to bed, woke up the next morning to find ANOTHER USHANKA
It's like the planets has alligned to make me as happy as i fucking could be
Another crafting story, not as pleasant (for me) as the other one. Feeling giddy and lucky after finding another ushanka, I decide to craft some more. Now don't get me wrong, Hotrod is great and all, but I hate the engineer and one can only combat engi for so long. So i take my new ushanka and my hotrod and once again, click the ok button. Now lemme tell ya, if you get as big a lucky streak as i did (most of you are aware that my past few weeks were awesome) do not let it get to your head. I wasted 2 awesome hats and got hatless fucking sniper
At that very moment i felt my lucky streak crash down on top of me.

hey bastards have fun with your hats
first i got the fro, and i was like hell yes(this is when hats had just come out so i was a cool kid), then i got baseball bills sports shine. being a retard i decided to combine them (hoping for the ushanka) but instead i got a bowler. ok, so its not great, whatever, ill keep it till i get another hat. about a month later i get a mining light, and im like sweet this hat blows i dont feel guilty at all. two glued together hats later, i have another goddamn mining light. MOTHERFUCKER i screamed, but no one heard me.
Days later, i was crawling through a gulley when i found another can of that ol' shine, and spent the rest of the day rubbin that stuff alllll over my dome light. Strangely it turned into a bonk helm, which made me happy, atleast, for a while. But, the day had come, camera beards became misc items, and i had found one. Again, it made me happy, but only for a while. My lust for hats had turned into an addiction, and it was fed when camera beards once again became hats. I ripped it apart and threw it into a fire along with the helm of bonk, and out came the a bland batters helm. I was furious, i had been loyal to the hat gods for so long and they reward me with THIS? HOW DARE THEY? So, i destroyed my dead ringer and smelted yet another hat.

Mining Light.
by this time i was overcome with depression, and i decided to end it all.
So i installed Battlefield: Bad Company 2
And the rest, is history
tl;dr: GOD DAMNIT, IT WAS THE MINING LIGHT ALL ALOONG. GOD DAMN YOUUUU
