Petition to make Blue fun again - Coppanuva - 05-18-2010
Well Ensign and I were going to get a rousing round of Koth_Rainbow started today when we found something out... there is no Koth_Rainbow. Or PL_Awesome. Or CP_HotelHell. Or PLR_WhaleRace.
This is a petition to get these fun and awesome maps put back on Blue, as RTV options of course.

You all do know that when blue had these maps, no one used it, like, at all. Now about once to twice a week the server will fill with people that like normal custom maps and the server actually gets some use.
There's a reason these only get swapped out admin-only on FNF, because with anything less than all regulars it kills the population.
If you really want them I'll put a few of them back on blue.

Whalerace is close enough to a legitimate map that it should be voteable, but the rest of those should probably stay admin-only.

I don't really see how the 2-3 extras would hurt it. It's not like we'd be able to convince any sane person who wasn't screwing around to rtv to rainbow anyways, and if we were starting from scratch it would be primarily us anyways.

Yes you can, I've watched it happen before, "Hey guys we got 18 people, lets go to X, YEA X ITS SOOOO FUN", and if they stick around to download it, they quit soon there after.
Whale race is legit enough of a map with a silly premise, maybe balloon or wacky as well, but shit like Rainbow/MarioKart/Cyberpunk, fun for regs but not voting.
