Keep Gold Alive? - Surf314 - 06-01-2010 Basically I am disappoint at EA's poor release and support of BC2. And no one wants to seed anymore. Plus I'm pretty darn busy lately. Is this worth keeping alive at least for the next patch or should I stop payment on it? Also our funds are almost gone but if we stop this I'd be willing to try something else in the future through NFO. Re: Keep Gold Alive? - beep beep diglett - 06-01-2010 i dont think its worth it a shit ton of factors all contributed to the death of this game (for us, anyways) and i think what money we have left is better used to pay for the tf2 servers Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Versus - 06-01-2010 nope R.I.P. Bad Company 2. :'( Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Turtle - 06-01-2010 yeah EA fucked up on the release of it which pretty much set it's fate Anyway i stopped playing this game a while ago Re: Keep Gold Alive? - beep beep diglett - 06-01-2010 (06-01-2010, 03:15 PM)Turtle link Wrote: yeah EA fucked up on the release of it which pretty much set it's fate its more than that, mostly the fact half of brbu cant run the game (which is why they play tf2) Re: Keep Gold Alive? - copulatingduck - 06-01-2010 ya, one of the few multiplayer games out there that runs worse that TF2 (lol) come play WoW with me :-* Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Dtrain323i - 06-01-2010 I thought BC2 was awesome until it devolved into a Modern Warfare-like rocket fest Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Turtle - 06-01-2010 (06-01-2010, 03:20 PM)Duck link Wrote: come play WoW with me :-*My friend said he might go play WoW again maybe if he does i will. But i like money and WoW takes all of it Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Trace - 06-01-2010 (06-01-2010, 03:11 PM)Versus-pwny- link Wrote: nope Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Maxon - 06-01-2010 Sadly I think we should let it go.  I really like the game and we had one of the best quality servers I think, but we lost too many BRB since the game came out, with people that either couldn't play it right, or lost interest too fast.  And yeah, I'm not a big seeding person, so it's tough to get myself into small games and hope they fill up to a quality size match. I'll still play BFBC2, especially after the next patch, but I don't think we should put the money into a BC2 server.  Maybe we'll see new maps and more quality patches and we can see about a server at a later date possibly.  I think friends lists are working now, so we can maybe figure out good servers to meet on. Thats another big problem. EA essentially charged us 60 bucks for a Beta. Things like "friends lists" not working is unacceptable for a release from a company like EA Re: Keep Gold Alive? - Maxon - 06-01-2010 (06-01-2010, 03:41 PM)Dtrain323i link Wrote: Thats another big problem. Hopefully they handle Medal of Honor and Battlefield 3 better. With the relatively few people we have who even own the game let alone play it regularly it's not worth keeping Gold.
