TF Tuesdays 6/17/08 - CaffeinePowered - 06-17-2008
Just a reminder - the Wave Keyboard contest ends tonight, I have not tabulated the current standings, but just from a quick glance over it looks like JMaster is still in the lead as Spore deferred since he won the previous contest. As always, 3 new maps tonight, Zargon has a new beta, as well as a TFC port, and something brand new.
cp_secretbase_b3 - Zargon finished this new beta last night, time for another play test
cp_cz2_b1 - Canal Zone 2 - TF/C port, was a lot of fun, should translate fairly well to TF2
ctf_freezer_v2 - high rated map, watch out for freezers which will damage you as you walk through them

Sweet two of my suggestions made the list, looks like my recent addiction to trolling FPS Banana is paying off.
Also can't wait for beta2 of cz2, the map maker claims to have figured out how to make a destroyable object that will reset all of one teams captures ;D :o ;D :o
If anyone has played cz2 you know that this is a big part of what makes this map awesome, if a team is steamrolling the points you could make a desperate push for the control room and reset all of their advancements. I was that guy!

YAY! Looks like I finally get to play again tonight! Now that my family is done visiting for graduation and I got my UF orientation out of the way!
@cbre88x - I love that sig! Had to grab one for myself off that site...I guess I really haven't played as much as I thought. Oh well, time to fix that now that my summer officially starts!

LOL @ UF Orientation, did you feel like you lost a couple days of your life you will never get back? Most useless compulsory activity ever. Well maybe those team building things they do for corporations could come close.

When I went some of the people that run the thing, the UF students, supposedly grown up mature people, with the wisdom of a college education etc., anyways they put on a play about the dangers of STDs and drinking. I think there was singing involved. I was embarrassed for them. Most cringe-worthy event of my college days.
