What about the UT2k4 mod Carball ? Someone wanted me to try it out, and I did, but I think it has a rather steep learning curve. You play soccer in UT buggies. You "kick" the ball by having your car boost and quickflip and stuff. The guy who wanted me to try it did an outstanding tutorial video, but I'm not sure if it's online.

Ehh, UT2k4 is installed and runs properly, but killing floor gives me an engine error when i try to start it.

the Killing Floor mod is deese, all the servers are laggy though, i would rather host a few people on my box.

I would love to just play some classic UT2k4 DM/TDM. It is the one FPS that I'm not total shit at.
I mean the mods are good, but they all play a bit outdated. Or, as it was with most UT2k4 mods, rushed, unpolished, and buggy. Damn make something unreal contest flooded the market with some awful mods.

i actually liked the UT3 demo more than UT2k4
It seemed to bring the game back to the original UT where UT2k4 was a bunch of freaks jumping around at high speeds.
