Very important question - Benito Mussolini - 10-05-2008 What happened to Budr? What happened to Exanimo? What happened to Krissy? I call Re: Very important question - cannedpeahes - 10-05-2008 I'm calling shenanigans on this. I think Budr got suspended. He reregistered as "Arnie's Right Bicep". Not sure about Exanimo. I can't imagine he did anything vile. Krissy... hm. Probably, we just offended her somehow. We tend to do that. Re: Very important question - Dave - 10-05-2008 best threesome ever? then they topped themselves Re: Very important question - KarthXLR - 10-05-2008 I wouldn't be surprised if we offended krissy...we tend to do so. Exanimo, I have no freaking clue. Same with Neonie. Re: Very important question - Tragic Hero - 10-05-2008 Aren't Exanimo and Krissy RL friends? Maybe they left as a package deal Re: Very important question - Versus - 10-05-2008 Re: Very important question - copulatingduck - 10-05-2008 For whatever reason, all of them - except Budr - left and don't plan to return methinks. :-\ Re: Very important question - CaffeinePowered - 10-05-2008 Explanations, since you all should deserve them and know what happened Budr - Deleted his account on a dispute with Scotty, which was later resolved, now re-registered as Arnie'sRightBicep Exanimo - Another "dispute" with scotty, after talking with both of them they're just acting immature. Also started thinking Karma was serious business and because he cause some flack for saying a few things thinks "no body likes him" Neonie - After catching a lot of flack for calling Tragic's friend an attention whore, deleted his account because he got too much negative karma, which is serious business. Re-registered so he could lurk, then deleted the account again. After all we did for him to get him a PC that was capable of playing TF2 I'm very disappointed in him. Krissy - No idea, hasn't been online and completely cleaned out her friends list on steam. Part of it might have been that thread with tragic, but I have a feeling its something personal IRL and she needed to spend less time online because of it. There you all have it, no mystery, just immaturity. Since two people had disputes with Scotty, both of which after talking with both parties never should have happened, please talk to another admin, might help put things in perspective to talk to another person about it. Re: Very important question - HeK - 10-05-2008 Drama ftl.... Re: Very important question - Luinbariel - 10-05-2008 (10-05-2008, 07:19 PM)HeK link Wrote: Drama ftl.... Yes. Though I would like to point out something in defence of Scotty or any other admin; I don't really know exactly what happened, but when your admin happens to also be your friend, this happens a lot. When you have to choose to lay down the law on your friends in a community you both inhabit... it ends up messy. It happens to me too and I hate to see people end up separated because of it. Re: Very important question - Luca Shoal - 10-05-2008 Now that I know the story, I is disappointed with Neonie as well :<. Re: Very important question - Benito Mussolini - 10-05-2008 So, it's ALL Scotty's fault... Get him Re: Very important question - rumsfald - 10-05-2008 (10-05-2008, 06:48 PM)CaffeinePowered link Wrote: Explanations, since you all should deserve them and know what happened Thanks for taking the time to explain, Caff. For what it is worth, I've been trying to stay lurking since my computer died, but this merits breaking my vow of silence. Firstly, all 4 have been exceptional contributors to the community, and it is very sad to see any of them resort to this, whether you consider it to be dramatic or not. Secondly, I am very surprised to see ScottyG involved in several of these. In my observances, Scotty has always been more tolerant and, ahem, more mature than most about everyone. So I am shocked to see him so implicated. That doesn't mean he is blameless, but he may have been having a bad week. As purely a spectator, I'd like to see his thoughts on the record on some of these reports. I'm very glad to see BuDr has returned. Even with a lame new name and ghey avatar. I'm very sad to see exanimo leave. He was an original, and a good internet fried, and I can't say anthing more than repeat that it is very sad to see him go. I'm also sad to see Neonie go. No one was a greater champion of community building than he. Though, it is ironic that he gained a computer and left and I lost a computer and still hang on..... I'm also sad to see Krissy go. I didn't know her as well as Mr. Grey knows her (badump-bump), but she was very active in game and in the forums, and always added something to our community. This is a sad day/week for brbu. Re: Very important question - HuckBerryGee - 10-05-2008 Scotty got them in a dark place, They never came back. :o (10-05-2008, 08:23 PM)rumsfald link Wrote: I'm very sad to see exanimo leave. Re: Very important question - Wedge - 10-05-2008 Hay, I always said he's why I hate furries for a reason. Too many are teh srs emoz. At least he'll get some rape on SL now apparently. WTF did Exanimo go though? I was just playing with him on the server a couple day ago, fgt needs to come back. Now now... no hate on a thread I started. Re: Very important question - copulatingduck - 10-05-2008 It's not that all of them have left the community (just krissy as far as I know). But for one reason or another, most of them have said they're tired/sick/exhausted/etc of the forums. :-\ Re: Very important question - WTF Joel - 10-05-2008 I noticed that neonie replaced the brbu tag with the fg one o.o he takes stuff too seriously. This I know. Exanimo decided to cut loose and get away from the place of drama which I assume he feels bad over. I still see him playing in the servers so I wouldn't exactly call him gone. Budr.. well, needs no further explanation. And Krissy... I know what happened to her, she told me, and I remain in contact with her. I'm fairly sure she did not want her reasons made public, but I will check with her next time I see her, and if she gives the go ahead I'll be happy to share the story. Also, everyone calm the fuck down, Im the only one allowed to rage here :O !slap brb.u And on a small continuation. Scotty and I too were at each others throat, or should I say he was at mine, and I was considering leaving because I didn't feel welcomed anymore. I didn't, because I did the smart thing, and talked to him maturely about it. Now we're bro's again <3 We should all practice this o.o EDIT: and as far as hating the forums goes.. maybe its because its full of failchain meme's? o.o Re: Very important question - KarthXLR - 10-05-2008 I feel we need to clean up our forum a little... Re: Very important question - Tragic Hero - 10-05-2008 In general I think the forums are fine. The only problem I see is a case of "zealot-ism". People either raise their BRB battle standard once someone makes a deragatory comment about the community or someone in the community and said member gets fanatical. Thats the only time I really see immaturity run rampant and get annoying. Otherwise I think we all do a good job of being a fun loving community. |
