Mixtape Lovers Anonymous - Surf314 - 10-08-2008 I decided to make my wife some mixtapes after seeing Nick & Norah's infinite playlist. As a music geek, I've made a couple before and they are pretty hard work. I've also had some made for me. It can be pretty fun. I decided to go all out and make album covers for them, the first one I stole most of the artwork for (I can do some decent stuff if I can borrow enough from others) the other I used my horrendous drawing skills on. 1. Frightened Rabbit - The Twist 2. Ra Ra Riot - St. Peter's Day Festival 3. Benjamin Diamond - Lights in the Sky 4. Eef Barzelay - Make Another Tree 5. The Morning Benders - Patient Patient 6. MGMT - Kids 7. Santogold - I'm a Lady 8. Jurassic 5 - Brown Girl 9. Peter Sarstedt - Where do you go to my lovely? 10. Field Music - She Can Do What She Wants 11. Elf Power - Quiver and Quake 12. Margot & the Nuclear So & Sos - As Tall As Cliffs 13. Laura Marling - Ghosts 14. I'm From Barcelona - Paper Planes 15. Say Hi To Your Mom - Spiders 16. Starfucker - Holly 17. Electric President - We Were Never Built to Last 1. Kings of Leon - Use Somebody 2. Blitzen Trapper - Lady on the Water 3. Jose Gonzales - Heartbeats 4. My Morning Jacket - Librarian 5. Laura Veirs - Cast a Hook in Me 6. Amber Rubarth - You Will Love This Song 7. Blur - Sweet Song 8. Aqualung - Something to Believe in 9. Hellogoodbye - Oh, it is love 10. Idlewild - Love Steals us from Loneliness 11. Jenny Lewis - Trying My Best To Love You 12. Maximo Park - Kiss You Better 13. Ima Robot - Too Hearts Too Young 14. O.A.R. - Love and Memories 15. Rise Against - Swing Life Away 16. TV on the Radio - Family Tree 17. The Mountain Goats - You or Your Memory Edit: This should be the song lists and the order, I hope I did it well. Re: Mixtape Lovers Anonymous - Greatbacon - 10-08-2008 Shuffle is a real man's mix. Although I do enjoy my all Rush mixtape from time to time. In all seriousness though I look forward to seeing what you've got. Re: Mixtape Lovers Anonymous - ToiletDuck - 10-08-2008 will these mixtapes be available for download? :x:x:x Re: Mixtape Lovers Anonymous - cannedpeahes - 10-08-2008 I love seeing names I recognize. MGMT, Mountain Goats, TV On the Radio, Blitzen Trapper, Elf Power, Margot. Check out Wolf Parade and throw them somewhere. Re: Mixtape Lovers Anonymous - Surf314 - 10-08-2008 OK I'm ripping now, it will lose all the track names but you have the playlist here. Also I was going to host it in my public dropbox folder unless someone has a better suggestion.
