Re: The Going Back to School Thread - Eightball - 01-14-2013 In my first year I nailed down a broad range of distro requirements; I knew what I wanted to major in but wasn't sure about minors or other interests. Worked out for me; I settled on a chemistry minor and eventually a humanities minor on top of that. It's not a gamble if you're exploring subjects within the scope of some pre-existing requirement. Also all set for my final quarter of classes. A lab class, bioethics, a latin roots class that's 100% self-study, auditing a chemistry course, and my research. Pick classes that will transfer to other colleges and other tradeschools, as opposed to merely ones which will transfer to different departments of the same university. Also tell them you're not going to be around on ACEN weekend :V |
