Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Luca Shoal - 08-19-2008 HE PUNCHED OUT ALL MY BLOOD in before other quotes. I approve of Sandvich, tho the loss of the shotgun is a big change. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - dapngwnman - 08-19-2008 Fucking yeah. Unlimited sandwiches? Who needs healthpacks bitches. I am gonna be playing solo heavy forever when all the nubs stop playing. Forever. Annoying gun? Check. No need for healthpacks? Check. Sounds like a recipe for being a mosquito. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Scary Womanizing Pig Mask - 08-19-2008 Unlimited Sandviches change a lot. Might be a viable alternative to the shotty now. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Riosan - 08-19-2008 Greatest "Meet The" Video ever. YOU CALL THAT BREAKING A SPINE Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - CaffeinePowered - 08-19-2008 Nastascha - TBD, looks mostly fail from my perspective, may change Sandwitch - Gimmick & fail, worst unlock yet KGB - Might be marginally useful Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - cbre88x - 08-19-2008 NOM NOM NOM Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Luinbariel - 08-19-2008 My face can't decide what expression it should take on yet. I think I'm in love with this video... I'll have to get back to you after i watch it a million more times. Also, in before "heavy tea parties" Re: Heavy Updates... I Sense Shenanigans. At least the Sandvich makes the Heavy less dependant on the Medic. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - K2 - 08-19-2008 Update is out now. Gentlemen, start your whoring! TF2 is supposed to be cartoony and unrealistic, them makeing it more cartoony by adding a sandvich and having a sense of humor is hardly gimmicky, it just falls in the line with the tone of the game. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APDcD3k5dk0 Second day of rehearsals..no front ensemble. The rim clicking at 2:30 is the start of the drum solo and I think they had just learned that drill that night so they didn't add the music. That first horn note at the end is the start of..well..I'll let you figure that out.. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - KarthXLR - 08-19-2008 I don't understand, everyone is saying "NO ARENA MODE IT SUCKS" when no one has tried it yet. srsly, calm down you guys. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Wedge - 08-19-2008 Yeah, all the people that never play Heavy have no problem that the update gives them shit. For those of us that actually use the class though, it sucks. I bet youl'd be crai crai'ing if the Pyro was still worthless. On the plus side, I don't have to worry about Heavy achievements, with the unlocks being useless. Also, a useful shotty replacement would have been akimbo sawed off shotguns, that give you a high power close-mid range shot, but need to be reloaded after every burst. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Luca Shoal - 08-19-2008 Pyro was never useless. Re: Heavy Updates... BECAUSE THEY ARE OPTIONAL. They should be a new strategy to think of, a new way to play. Not just a bigger stronger gun. That's what screwed the pyro update so much. Whining about what you aren't going to get is useless. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Fail Medic - 08-19-2008 Eating a sandwich takes four seconds. Tactically discuss. Dustbowl 2-B, sniper lining... or... fuck, it's 8PM, update's downloaded in my client... never mind. Re: Heavy Updates... Next Week? - Scary Womanizing Pig Mask - 08-19-2008 After trying it out, my position on arena has been completly reversed. It's an incredibly fun and compact game type that I really like, and would love to see on our servers Re: Heavy Updates...
