Wow, the third boss fight is really shitty.
I went back to the LIMB clinic for the biochip recall so I have to fight with no augments.  I have to run around with super glitchy vision while being chased by an invisible guy who can one shot me.  After about 30 tries I finally managed to get him to run into 3 frag mines in a row for an instant kill.
I thought that was fun...
Took my a few tries, but I sort of figured out that frag mines are the best strategy too, coupled with my boss-fight-only souped up heavy rifle.
All the boss fights are pretty bad, IMO. But they're far and few between, so I can handle it.

Guess I was lucky
I went back for the chip, but I had a revolver fully upgraded, and over 100 rounds in it, since I'm doing a nonlethal runthrough. Shot him like 14 times in his invisible dong, and won. Gotta give props to the setpiece you fight him on, it was actually kinda disturbing seeing those flesh skeletons dance about at first.
Considering the amount of blatant foreshadowing...

Re: Deus-Ex 3 Info and Discussion thread. - Eschatos - 08-30-2011

The last boss fight was ridiculously easy.

Also I liked that the endings
didn't actually say anything about what would happen, just gave Adam's take on what he thought.  I still think that the "Destroy Panchaea" option made the most sense to lead up to Deus Ex.  Augments aren't popular, and the Illuminati was weakened enough that Majestic 12 could take over.  The Darrow/Illuminati endings would result in no augmentations, and the Sarif ending would make everyone robots. Can anyone that beat it tell me how filled up your augs were? I'm kinda curious as to how I should be spending my points. I'm about to go to TYM and I have 2 free points. I need 2 to get hacking to 5 and I need two to max out cloak. I was also hoping to put points in recharge rate and hacking stealth.

Re: Deus-Ex 3 Info and Discussion thread. - Eschatos - 08-31-2011

I got pretty much everything except the useless hacking/stealth augs and the typhoon.  I did get mostly ghost bonuses though.  I bet if I had gotten all the possible bonuses I could have gotten everything.

Re: Deus-Ex 3 Info and Discussion thread. - at0m - 08-31-2011

Hacking stealth is well worth putting at least one level into, if you hack everything in sight (like I did)

Re: Deus-Ex 3 Info and Discussion thread. - Versus - 08-31-2011

maxing hacking stealth is absolutely worth it. i had ~165k xp at the end of the game

I meant the useless hacking augs and the useless stealth augs.  Hacking stealth is extremely useful.
