Re: The E3 2010 Thread - Surf314 - 06-16-2010 PA's synopsis is that steam on PS3 is a big fucking deal and also means that Valve DLC will be free on PS3 and will probably be on 360 too as they have a policy not to charge for things that are free on other consoles. So this is bigger than I thought. Non-console people will care less though. It barley ever accuracy detects the swing and he has a hard time just trying to kill a damn deku baba. You would think Miyamoto-san would be able to play his own game, but it took him 3 and a half swings just to throw a bomb. Yeah, I was laughing at that while watching it yesterday, but if you watch some of the show floor demos from later that day it looks like it works pretty well normally. All that matters is hands-on impressions from the show floor are all positive.
Later at the round-table they confirmed that there was some sort of interference on stage and that they hoped it wouldn't happen on the floor like it did on stage, and that earlier tests were fine. I think I'm going to enjoy the new Zelda. It really looks like they got it right with the new art style and controls.
The wiiremote sensor is still pointing at the sensor bar, if there is light on the sensor bar it interferes with it. I had the same exact problem with Red Steel 2 where the sword controls are very similar to Skyward Sword and it would fuck up whenever I had lights on that were near the sensor bar. Re: The E3 2010 Thread - beep beep diglett - 06-17-2010 no Re: The E3 2010 Thread - [fr31ns]Karrde - 06-17-2010 Ok, that does it. I now officially need a Wii. They've finally hit that "There's too many good games" threshold. I have been doing my usual: paying no attention to E3 for no reason. Re: The E3 2010 Thread - [fr31ns]Karrde - 06-17-2010 In general, what's at E3 notwithstanding. Metroid prime games, Red steel 1 and 2, Zelda, mario kart, blaster master, muscle march, epic mickey, various others.
