I hate so many things about it. First, way too many emo. Second, everytime i read it, the only game related thing it have is that the guy works on a gamestore.

Hell, even the sillies are funnier than the actual comic, and the only thing worth reading

Re: Your Desktop Wallpapers - Squishy3 - 12-12-2008

ctrl-alt-del was good until it got into this whole pregnant shit

Re: Your Desktop Wallpapers - zaneyard - 12-12-2008

i dont read it for being a gaming comic, i just read it as being a comic. i know that a lot of criticism came at it because of the moving away of the gaming subject. i say w/e because i still like the characters and story.

I do too, my good sir. Perchance you would like to discuss this hilarious sequence of pictures and many more over a glass of chardonnay?

CAD was never good. It's like Carlos Mencia. At first everyone was like Big Grin

But then, we >Sad'd.

Really though, I can go back through Penny Arcade, VGcats, Fanboys, Van Von Hunter, Snafu, Explosm, hell even Megatokyo, and they are still at least worth a few smiles and the story in the story ones is still decent. CAD never had and still doesn't have anything more than a worthless self-insert story, and still has maybe one funny webcomic for every 30-40 you browse.

Also, new desktop.

Hmmm, upgrading can be a little tricky but do-able if you know what to look out for. For the rest, Mac OS X has been a very nice OS for me to work in... Very nice interface, apps are more polished than they are on other OSes I've used and a full UNIX system underneath... (As a UNIX sysadmin/programmer this is a must for me)
I still have a windows partition to game in but it's almost painful to do any work in there... Although I must admit it was painful to work in windows when I dual booted to Linux as well...

Got any more like this? You seem to be on the same page as me with wallpapers, I like scenery/visual shit, but not normal everyday "ohi this is a city or a hill or something" crap.
