Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Chief - 09-07-2011 someone pass the weed from nintendo's office Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Squishy3 - 09-07-2011 I for one welcome this addition. It also looks quite bulky, so maybe a backup battery/better battery is built in as well? I just like that people are complaining about something to add better control like Nintendo hasn't done it before. (Wii Motion+) If they release a new model with a second circle pad built in, and this so that people who bought the first model aren't completely screwed over. (As long as they don't release the new model for a lower price, it should be same price or slightly more) Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Coppanuva - 09-07-2011 Here's the thing though, so far only MH3G is known to support it so far. Whether future games do or not is still to be decided, so it may be a peripheral for just a few games. I think we'll see how serious this is being done depending on if Nintendo makes a redesign soon for it or not. Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Squishy3 - 09-10-2011 That's because MHP3G is going to be a huge system seller in Japan alone, and would thus also be a huge system seller for the second circle pad. (even for people who already have the PSP version, just because it has a 2nd analog and it would mean the camera wouldn't be a pain to control) I wouldn't be surprised if the Kingdom Hearts game ended up supporting it, among others. Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Chief - 09-12-2011 the 3ds isnt dead! ...in japan Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Trace - 09-13-2011 Thinking about picking one of these things up, everyone cried about the battery when it came out but have since quieted down. Are there third party batteries out there or is the battery life not even a real issue? Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - KarthXLR - 09-13-2011 As much as I want one, I still can't justify buying it. :-\ Leaning towards the Vita for now. Re: BRBU' Unofficial 3DS Thread - Squishy3 - 09-13-2011 Additional slide pad is roughly $20, requires 1 AAA battery, isn't necessary even for games that support it. Yet people still crying about it. Monster Hunter 3G, Monster Hunter 4 (pretty much Monster Hunter Creed of the Colossus, watch the video and you'll see what I mean) Fire Emblem, new Square Enix game with weird name, Kid Icarus delayed, Mario Tennis and Paper Mario coming 2012. I think a lot of the new games looked nice. Also Fire Emblem is amazing news, and the Square-Enix game is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. Was about to get a dsi xl, then the 3ds came out so I put that plan on hold. Stupid huge hands.
