The boosters it drops lauch three bunches of three shock bombs.
That's not too bad, except these bombs ALSO HURT YOU. Meaning going after the boosters is a fucking death wish with the shock damage.

I used it for one fight, and sold the damn thing.

I found that one, too. It's appropriately called "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot."

I also found an orange Tediore rocket launcher with Rabbit in the name and red text of "Bouncy bouncy." When you "reload" it instead of launching straight forward it hops along the ground.

Hard Facts Storytime with Kor.

-BL2 uses bottom-up XP percentile scaling.
-Multiple lowbies do not compete for the same XP, it's scaled for as many people that need it to be scaled.
--EX: Lv. 50 putting in charity hours takes a Lv. 42 and Lv. 37 through Hero's Pass. Kills a Badass Loader. 42 gets 6k; 37 gets 6.4k(all numbers rounded).
-XP is zone-wide, if you have baggage to carry, they don't need to help.
-Quest progress is set by the host, but there is no overwriting.
-Lowbies can go into completed games and not have their progress altered.
-If progress is made in a multiplayer game, the game cleverly remembers that you have done that portion, and offers to skip it in your solo game.
-Powerleveling is generally efficient, and outpaces quest XP by a far margin.
-
Terramorphus and The Warrior give approximately the same XP, ballpark 20-23k. Just like quests, regular farming is more efficient, but can't argue the cash flow.
Re: Borderlands 2 - Sogo - 09-27-2012

So got bored and decided to figure out if the tip jar in Moxxi's does anything.

Be prepared to cram $15k+ in there if you want one.

Re: Borderlands 2 - Maxon - 09-27-2012

Oh do you get more if you go past the 10k? I might give this a try. I got one gun at 10k which gets the achievement, but it wasn't anything special.

I got a similar weapon, but mine's toxic and doesn't have a bayonette.

I think backfire is alluding to a system more like Guild Wars 2 where the higher ups can play in the lowbie games without completely breaking balance.

Indeed. If you want the challenge to remain intact, pick up the first gun and shield you see in the lowbie game.

Shiny! Looks to be a much better return on investment than what I've gotten dumping 50k+ into the slot machines. Has anyone gotten anything really spectacular out of those things?

Re: Borderlands 2 - Surf314 - 09-28-2012

I'm in the last round of the death dome or whatever and shit glitches and never starts the next wave. I have to quit my game and reload and not only do I fail and have no ammo but somehow I lose like half my money. I was pissed because I was actually doing well that time (I've failed it like a dozen times already).

I had a similar problem with it before. After the first wave ended, no more enemies spawned, so I had to reload the game. After that it worked fine, though. I would just skip it for now and come back after you've leveled up some more.

Re: Borderlands 2 - Reevesith - 09-28-2012

I spammed my excess cash into her jar & got both miss Moxxi's bad touch & Lucid good touch. seems like their only two. rest was just random chat. The Lucid good touch keeps the rumble going non-stop  XD

Re: Borderlands 2 - A. Crow - 09-28-2012

Why I farm The Dust:

in 3 runs collected:

1 Legendary
4 Epics
10ish Eridium.

Re: Borderlands 2 - Surf314 - 09-30-2012

I got an orange shotgun. It's OK, only 2 shots but they have a good crit bonus so if you manage to crit you can kill almost anything with those 2 shots.

Re: Borderlands 2 - K2 - 09-30-2012

Finished it today. Excellent game. I also found a ridiculous orange shotgun from beating the final boss that literally creates a wall of bullets.

Crow strategy: press F get kills. Win the game.
p.s. does not apply to payday

Well all my badass ranks and unlocked skins disappeared.  This kinda sucks.

It's a known bug. Supposedly they're working on a patch for it.

Re: Borderlands 2 - Mission Difficult - 10-05-2012

If you enter the following Shift code you should get another golden key:

WBK3T-TSH6Z-633B3-BT3TT-Z6SR5

You have to do it before 9pm central time for it to work.
