Edit: And the awesome masks for beating every heist at a certain difficulty. Who is ready to grind? Re: payday2 and group buy in - Luca Shoal - 02-27-2014 Do we call the new dozers Killdozers, or BBC (Big Blue Cocks)? Re: payday2 and group buy in - Neptune - 02-27-2014 I liked "Skulldozers". Dozers, Blackdozers, Skulldozers. And yes, I am so ready to grind. Lets get a game going after dinner and start with "Hard" difficulty, just to blow through them. Re: payday2 and group buy in - Duck, Duck, Goose - 03-22-2014 Trying this out cause it's free this weekend, might end up buying it. Would like to try out some 4-player co-op first though. Re: payday2 and group buy in - Didzo - 04-14-2014 I uninstalled this game due to its ability to fill 50GB of data on my SSD while updating. Not even Planetside 2 can accomplish that shit. The game is >25GB when it should be less than half that, every patch has been at least a 1GB download, and for some reason whenever you're downloading a patch it reserves space for the entire game (on top of the already existing files), which means 25GB of additional junk data. A couple months ago I was unable to download a game I'd just bought because Payday had decided to hold the remainder of my free space hostage until I'd downloaded its 2GB for fucking bugfixes. It's now the only game in my library I've set to never automatically update. [/quote] I think I know why, see the majority of game engines (including Source, and Unreal) have a file packaging system that also does some slight compression... I don't believe payday 2's engine does that quite as well. There is a trade off here though: without packaging files you get a faster load time, but if you do, you take up less space. With the advent of SSD's and hybrid drivers, there's really no longer much purpose in not packaging files anymore.
