Brave has been planned since like 2009. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 06-30-2011 Dawn of the Dead was awesome. Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 06-30-2011 Watched Sucker Punch. I can't say I enjoyed the setup of the story, though the visuals were pretty fantastic. I would've loved to see a full length feature utilizing the anime-like action scenes and a plot running along it, but overall it wasn't too bad. Trying to make sense of how everything connects is kinda tough I think, but it gets a pass lol Re: The Movie Thread - Ianki - 06-30-2011 (06-30-2011, 12:38 AM)Karth link Wrote: Dawn of the Dead was awesome.
Original. Not really interested in the Snyder remake. Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 06-30-2011 The remake was a terrible remake, but it was good in it's own right. They really should've just called it something else "of the Dead" and say it was inspired by Dawn of the Dead cause it shares almost nothing with the original other than the mall aspect. Re: The Movie Thread - Hobospartan - 07-04-2011 Welcome to Earf! Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 07-05-2011 I watched Troll 2 with a friend tonight. Oh god i don't even whats this i am 12 Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 07-05-2011 Oh yeah, World War Z is still happening. This movie kinda went dark for abit and I thought it was on hold, but it's actually in production and filming and coming out next year. I hope it's good, the book is great, though I'm sure they won't be able to touch on everything in it for just a single film, but I'm still interested into how they'll be handling this, something that's almost more like a documentary of sorts. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/50262 Re: The Movie Thread - Eschatos - 07-06-2011 (07-05-2011, 08:24 PM)Maxon link Wrote: Oh yeah, World War Z is still happening. Meh, I'd much rather they make a movie of Monster Island. World War Z is highly overrated. Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 07-06-2011 Never heard of Monster Island. Don't think WWZ is overrated either as I rarely find people that have read it lol Not saying it's the most amazing book up, but it's a different take on zombie stuff that tries to do more than just be standard horror fare, showing many different aspects of the zombie apocalypse and actually having humanity win over it. Don't see that in zombie stories usually. Reading a quick bit on Monster Island...man that story sounds kinda dumb, but I might pick this up still lol Re: The Movie Thread - Eschatos - 07-06-2011 (07-06-2011, 11:56 AM)Duck link Wrote:
Meh, I'd much rather they make a movie of Monster Island. World War Z is highly overrated.
