well there pretty much just needs to be a football and hockey thread. I feel like there could be plenty of hockey threads because of the canucks though.

rogers was recently found to throttle internet speeds 'inadvertently' for games like WoW and possibly COD, and the CRTC took action after like a week. who knows what they would do in this circumstance

yeah just like comcast was innocently "shaping traffic" by spoofing each customer and inserting spurious error messages into any torrent streams it found.

They finally were made to stop it but they insisted till the end it was their right to do so because it was their network.

Except it fucks over people where they have a broadband monopoly. Then they require contracts, which fucks those customers even more.

In all seriousness, I liked Hot Fuzz better as well. It may have been because I saw it first, but I think it's a stronger movie overall than SotD.

ehh, Hot Fuzz was great but I give my vote to SotD since it manages to be funny and be a pretty legit horror movie.

But can we turn the music thread into a music board?

I think it'd be better to have different threads for different genres. that way when you're craving a particular genre you find one here/talk about that genre.

It can also all be condensed into one thread. Discussion is different than 'what are you listening to'.

I don't think it's necessary to do so. The great thing about the music thread is that no one really responds to what you post most of the time, so you never know who listens to the shit you post. It's mysterious.
