Re: The Movie Thread - Squishy3 - 09-04-2011 Porco Rosso is fucking amazing, watch that. Princess Mononoke is good but I absolutely love Porco. Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro is a clasic. Worth seeing in theatres, or is it a total abomination? You may not get a chance to see it in theaters, it's a bomb. Re: The Movie Thread - Eschatos - 09-11-2011 Watched The Lincoln Lawyer last night. It was actually pretty good, but the ending was just too convenient.
They manage to catch the murderer because he just happened to get a parking ticket at the house of the first prostitute he killed. If that hadn't happened he would have gotten away completely free.
Re: The Movie Thread - HeK - 09-11-2011 (09-11-2011, 03:39 PM)Eschatos link Wrote: Watched The Lincoln Lawyer last night. It was actually pretty good, but the ending was just too convenient.
They manage to catch the murderer because he just happened to get a parking ticket at the house of the first prostitute he killed. If that hadn't happened he would have gotten away completely free.
The Son of Sam? Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-13-2011 I can't be the only one who loves this movie. Conan: No. The first 3rd is awesome, but becomes very generic and uninteresting shortly after the love-interest is introduced (surprise, surprise....) Apollo 18: YES! Loved it. Pretty close to what I was hoping for. The directing, editing (audio and visual) and over-all presentation are awesome. Acting is decent. I recommend seeing this one in theares.
Conan: the hadji copy I had was so bad I could see wtf was going on half the time. Too much talking for a conan movie. Apollo 18: I had a good hadji copy, and it was OK. Kinda like what you expect. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 09-16-2011 Army of Darkness was alright. I missed all the gore from the first one. Was funny though. Re: The Movie Thread - zaneyard - 09-16-2011 (09-16-2011, 03:59 AM)Karth link Wrote: Army of Darkness was alright. I missed all the gore from the first one.
