Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Maxon - 06-23-2011 Way too long of a wait, but a great video still. Doesn't make me want to play Medic anymore, but it's great to have XD Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - TOH - 06-23-2011 For those fearing an economy crash because of free accounts: http://teamfortress.com/freetoplay/faq.php Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - at0m - 06-23-2011 (06-23-2011, 08:46 PM)Star Knight link Wrote: [quote author=Tsuruya link=topic=206.msg211742#msg211742 date=1308878936]0:56. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - KarthXLR - 06-23-2011 Well, Team Fortress is ruined forever. It was fun while it lasted. Oh no! Change! To the panic room! Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - KarthXLR - 06-23-2011 That's our valve defence force. Good thing valve can't ever make mistakes. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Moosendoo - 06-23-2011 Au contraire.  Almost all of the new crafting recipes are AT LEAST 2-3 RECLAIMED metal + weapons.  That is a huge mistake IMO.  I'm still excited about everything else with the update though. Left 4 dead 1 to 2, there was only a 1 year wait on its release. A game that's lasted 4 years with over 200 updates? Not even close to a mistake. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Vongore - 06-23-2011 I can say, without a doubt, everybody on this community got TF2 for free with the Orange Box, so this doesn't really changes anything. Also, remember that TF2 is more a social game than a competitive game (even though there is a scene), and while more people play, it gets better (as long as no more Dakotas join brb.u) In other notes.. Quick Fix looks interesting, using it for that final point in Dustbowl looks like the most viable option Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - [SiN] Merc - 06-23-2011 (06-23-2011, 09:32 PM)Vongore link Wrote: I can say, without a doubt, everybody on this community got TF2 for free with the Orange Box, so this doesn't really changes anything. That new needle gun is going to make medics a bitch to stab. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - backfire - 06-23-2011 I've been trying to connect to steam ever since I restarted it to start the update... S'been about a half-hour now... Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - TOH - 06-23-2011 Bleh, not a fan of the new start-up menu. Though the 2fort background may have something to do with it (but I heard it randomizes, we'll see). New crafting interface is rather clunky. Just seems awkward with everything on the left side until you click on something. Love the new loadout selection screen, though. Grid's the way to go with all these weapons now. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - [SiN] Merc - 06-23-2011 Jesus Christ the new Heavy Minigun. |
