Wow the USD to Gold peg moved from .019 to .023 so everyone's money is now worth more! But product prices are dropping because of it.

Owning a business seems to be more about running a business. If you want a more active role I can show you the ropes, but no one is getting any returns right now. But it's not like the gold is gone, it's there whenever we want to sell the companies. And we are making profits now, I'm just building up stock until the prices rise again.

We make anywhere from $5-$50 a day depending on prices, as of right now all profits are going to building up our cash reserve so we can save stock during the lean times and sell during the good price times. To do this we are going to need over $1000 in each company, preferably $3000. Especially since the great prices are once a month. As of right now I have to drop the prices pretty low every couple of days to dump our stock and get enough money to pay wages, this can actually lose us money if we get unlucky.

Well shit, gold moved again to .025 per dollar, this means prices are going to continue to fall and we are paying everyone more. I may have to lower wages soon.

In a bit expect wage drops to market or around $2-3 profit per person. This may not actually be a pay cut since the value of the dollar is way up and prices of everything are going down.

LOL Rummy, that's kinda true.
For those investors that are worried about your money, the big problem with the economy module is that there are pretty much no barriers to entry. So anyone can make a fail company, this basically results in a bunch of idiots wrecking the profitability of entire industries. But to make good money it takes a lot of capital, I mean a lot. If you look at any marketplace you will see a lot of companies on the first page selling 1-20 items at a time and outbidding each other. As soon as you hit a decent price for profits though you will see someone with 100+ listing their goods. These are the people making money. To do this you have to be able to outlast the idiots, which takes money. You also need a lot of money to upgrade your company, to at least Q3 for raw materials. Otherwise you aren't making a profit, the only reason Q1s can break even is because of people that don't know how quality levels of raw materials work.
What this basically amounts to is that every piece of gold is desperately needed right now, if you want out I can try to buy you out with gold as I get hard worker and other stuff. But none of the money is being wasted, I check several times of day and make sure we are making money. I also make sure we are at least breaking even at the current prices just in case we have to sell some stock quickly. And all these companies are worth pretty much what you put into them, so they can eventually be sold to get our money back if you want. I didn't mean to be short with any of you but this took like a lot of words to explain and I figured you'd probably tl;dr it.
If you want to learn more go to the business section of the eus forums or I could teach you how we are running our own companies, if you don't want to bother you will just have to trust that I'm doing a good job, and that eventually we will get to the point where we can either pay out a bunch of money or buy some new companies (should be next 25th).
