Headed to central Wisconsin again, will be there Sat 10/23->Wed 10/26 at a minimum. Debating flying into MSP and spending Friday night in Minneapolis to visit my sister, then driving over to Wausau Saturday night/Sunday morning, haven't decided.

I need a pushpin map so I can remember where various BRBuers are so I know who to poke for a beer when I go places. Stein, you're on my mental map for Seattle, now.
WI is zane and Kase (depending on where frisbees are being thrown)
Kase's down in Madison (way out of my way) and Zane is in Manitowoc near Green Bay (somewhat closer), I knew those two. Priority's on Zane since I haven't met him yet.

...to go to Putnam, CT on an open ended ticket.

Re: Where in the world is..... (Bussiness Travel Thread) - at0m - 11-01-2011

The CT trip wasn't terrible. Took 2 days longer than intended but got shit done so its all good.

Will probably have to go back to WI again, again. Won't know for sure until later this week. If I do, I intend to visit with peoples whether or not I have pressing business elsewhere. Taking a few days off while on a trip, problem?

Philippines trip got nailed down to the third week of November (11th-21st) but I don't have to go; I'll be supporting that one remotely. That makes me very happy.

UK trip is getting more and more solid for immediately after New Years, which means I'll probably have a few extra days in Chicago after I head home for Christmas/New Years, since there's no sense in flying back to Baltimore only to fly to the UK a day or two later. Also nailed down location, its about 2 hours north of Heathrow. Only problem there is I've never driven in the UK, not gonna lie, it kinda scares me.

Re: Where in the world is..... (Bussiness Travel Thread) - at0m - 11-09-2011

I get one extra day at home before flying to the UK.

Was hoping to spend a few days at the end of that trip doing touristy stuff in the UK, but I have to fly straight from there to Alabama, and spend two+ weeks there.

Looks like I'm leaving Baltimore just before Christmas, and won't see it again until February. For fuck's sake, this shit needs to stop.

Have you ever done the bigger national RA events? I volunteered at NEFR last year, and kind of want to work at either Oregon Trails or the Olympus Rally.

We've competed at LSPR, OFR (until it was cancelled) and 100 Acre Wood for the past three years.

I'm far too lazy to look, what's the farthest east you get HeK? Except Canada, I can't get there. =|

Going to be in Thrapston, UK Jan 2nd-11th. Working with ain to sort out logistics for New Years in Amsterdam. Going to be some fun times.

Sounds like it could be an awesome time. Sorry you can't be with your family though.
Trying to make the best of it. I'll also probably be in Russelville, AR immediately after that trip through the end of the month, I think.

Oh, and I'll be in Putnam, CT next week, 12/19-12/20.

Re: Where in the world is..... (Business Travel Thread) - at0m - 01-16-2012

Putnam got pushed back (I didn't go in December), so instead of being home recovering from jetlag (after 2 weeks in the UK), I'm in CT right now.

Also, forgot my cell phone in my car back in Baltimore.

More people need to visit Florida, especially At0m.

I don't really like southern Florida (also have an ex who lives there that I don't care to risk running into), but where you are (Jacksonville) wouldn't be terrible. I could use another beer at the hipster bar right about now Wink

Fun fact #1: not counting repeats, since Dec 29th, I've been to 10 airports in 4 countries.

ORD - O'Hare International Airport (Chicago, IL)
DTW - Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Detroit, MI)
AMS - Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (The Netherlands)
CPH - Københavns Lufthavne (Copenhagen, Denmark)
BHX - Birmingham Airport (UK)
LHR - London Heathrow Airport (UK)
JFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York, NY)
MDW - Chicago Midway International Airport
BWI - Baltimore/Washington International Airport
PVD - T. F. Green International Airport (Providence, RI)

Again not counting repeats, I've flown with 5 different airlines in the process (KLM/Royal Dutch Air, SAS/Scandanavian Air, Air France, Delta, Southwest).

Fun Fact #2: I'll be spending probably half of February in Russelville, AR. Does ANYONE live ANYWHERE near there?

I was just in Florida, but at the wrong end. Way down in Del Ray Beach.

Going from the lack of response, asking my beard and I are going to be lonely in Arkansas.

Re: Where in the world is..... (Business Travel Thread) - at0m - 02-09-2012

We were lonely in Arkansauce indeed.

Next two trips are both to North Carolina. Anyone near there? I'll be in Hickory, NC Feb 29th-Mar 6th(ish), and Manson, NC from Mar 28th-April 5th(ish).

Headed to Manson, NC on Tuesday, for probably ~2 weeks.

Also, feels good when I can get a friend free plane tickets, makes some of this crap worthwhile.

Re: Where in the world is..... (Business Travel Thread) - HeK - 03-23-2012

Off to Ottawa on Sunday.
