I'm pretty into Fringe now.  Watched everything up to the newest releases and it really does get better.  The monster of the week things kinda fades away for stuff more relevant to the plot and the story is really good now.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - Luinbariel - 02-05-2011

I should get back into Fringe. I have only seen a few episodes and I liked it, but I never went further than that for some reason.

Maybe because the gore makes you queasy?
Or is that just me...

And that was basically just Season 1. S2 is better.

Gore does not make me queasy. I watched a bunch of it while HeK was away on a work trip once, but I never got around to downloading more and it just kind of slipped into forgetfulness on my part. I plan to pick it back up again. I very much liked it when I watched it.

Season 2 is very much not monster-of-the-week.

Re: Favorite TV Shows - loldollas - 02-08-2011

If I haven't already mentioned this; Summer Heights High.

It's an australian mockumentary mini-series written by Chris Lilley, who plays 3 iconic roles throughout the show.  You first see Jonah, a troubled Polynesian Year 8 boy, Ja'mie King, a rich year 11 girl who is on exchange from a private school, and Mr. G, the gay drama teacher.
This show is absolutely hilarious, but fair warning, it gets really sad near the last 2 episodes!
