Re: The Movie Thread - Squishy3 - 03-21-2012 the muppets was fucking amazing holy shit fuck everyone who didn't want to go see this in theatres with me hunger games was good, pacing for everything leading up to the games was a bit off, but once it reaches the actual games it just doesn't stop. Re: The Movie Thread - HeK - 03-25-2012 http://storyboardcomics.blogspot.ca/2012/03/this-is-what-i-expect-michael-bays.html Re: The Movie Thread - Trace - 03-25-2012 Hunger Games was a pretty good film adaptation of the book, like Squishy said it was a bit slow in the beginning but it fixed itself in the latter half. I was the only one in my family who read the books but my brother, and my mom still enjoyed it, and for some reason my dad didn't like it Re: The Movie Thread - matter11 - 04-03-2012 The western literature class continued with a classic I'd never gotten around to watching. Fun times. Mongo only pawn in game of life I think I like HOTW part 1 more although I haven't seen it in a few years. As expected, everything was depressing as all hell. Really well made, but something you can really only watch once. Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 04-07-2012 The new Mission Impossible was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but I loved the gadgets they used and alot of the stunt/fighting stuff was really well done, to the point that it felt like Cruise was really getting hurt in it lol Re: The Movie Thread - Squishy3 - 04-07-2012 (04-07-2012, 06:45 PM)Maxon link Wrote: The new Mission Impossible was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but I loved the gadgets they used and alot of the stunt/fighting stuff was really well done, to the point that it felt like Cruise was really getting hurt in it lolHe was very adamant that he does his own stunts too. Dude may be batshit insane IRL but he's passionate about his movies. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 04-07-2012 Saw Hunger Games tonight. Enjoyed it quite a lot. The characters are believable and the oppressive capitol is kind of believable in a 1984-type way. I look forward to the sequel. Also, simon pegg. A Fantastic Fear of Everything Official Trailer #1 - Simon Pegg Movie (2012) Re: The Movie Thread - [SiN] Merc - 04-08-2012 I liked hunger games better when it was called Battle Royal. On another note, saw Wrath of the Titans. I liked it pretty well.
