Although arguably that's just quibbling over syntax. Re: Neat stuff (non-lulz but interesting things) - Versus - 02-01-2011 for-profit insurance companies: a bad idea make money by not giving you what you paid for, then telling you we have the best healthcare system in the world and every other country's is awful? sounds good to me Re: Neat stuff (non-lulz but interesting things) - k0ala - 02-01-2011 Federal judges on the district, circuit, and appellate courts are bound by U.S. Supreme Court precedent. That's the way case law in this country works. This judge took it upon himself to disregard Supreme Court decisions of the past, and to rewrite interpretations of the law based on the perceived ideals of the Founding Fathers. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ezra-klein/2011/02/the_weak_link_in_vinsons_decis.html Naturally this is going to go to the Supreme Court. In the meantime, Judge Vinson issued no injunctions against the law, so it is Affordable Care Act business as usual while the appeal process gets rolling. Re: Neat stuff (non-lulz but interesting things) - Kirby - 02-02-2011 Getting my system ready for a format C:\ and re-install soon. I was backing up my \games folder, 378 GB, 311,091 files. Got to thinking about the old days, when my HDD was 5.99GB and I had to think long and hard about what 600MB worth of game I wanted to delete when I got a new game to install. I love technology.
