I learned that I can finally start putting money away towards a new car.
5 grand will be getting stashed on August 16th with an extra 900 a month on top of that. I plan to have 25 grand to spend on a car by April 2011.

This week I learned that Student Loans is completely retarded.
They are still auditing my loan, but they told me that because I'm not going back to school we can choose not to comply..... and there are ABSOLUTELY NO PENALTIES. AT ALL.
It sucks that I can't finish the last maybe three classes I need to graduate, but it's good that I won't be utterly destroyed by student loans for concealing my common-law status.
Maybe this should be FML? I'm not sure.

Painting a room is always more work than initially anticipated, but:
a> It is more fun to do with someone else (like HeK) than it is to do alone
b> It is always more rewarding than initially anticipated
c> The chances of ruining your new dining room table are always higher than initially anticipated
d> You will always use more paint than you think you'll need and will have to get more, despite careful calculations that state otherwise
They key is not to initially anticipate ANYTHING AT ALL.

Cowboy Bebop has the best soundtrack I've ever heard in a animation, and is one of my 3 "Stay up late to watch" animes,the other 2 being FLCL, and Lupin the Third.
