Kaese: I got them here http://www.youknowit.com/online-shop/freaky-yellow-contact-lenses-prescription792427.cfm They fit poorly though. One eye is fine, but my left eye isn't. Every time I blink, my eyelid drags it up. So, there's that possibility. As for the lens sliding around, that's just a problem of the base curve fit. I usually order my lenses from http://www.pinkyparadise.com/default.asp. A bit more reasonably priced, ~$20 per pair + shipping.
I have the same problem sometimes with my costume contacts....the eyelid thing D: At otakon one went all the way back, didnt feel it and I spent 15 min trying to find it on the ground before it came back down on its own Re: Pictures - Luinbariel - 10-16-2012 (10-16-2012, 10:33 AM)Karth link Wrote:
whenever i've looked, theatrical prescription lenses were hideously expensive. They are usually fitted to avoid that.
I think I found this in the thread: Re: Pictures - Gasman - 10-16-2012 Is it drinking his eyeball? Re: Pictures - zaneyard - 10-17-2012 yep that's it. I think it was spore or someone said he was coaxing a wasp into his eye at work or something. Re: Pictures - kaese - 10-17-2012 ugh the photoshop... I don't think having contact lens on eye and having wasp on eye are on the same level of scariness. Unless, of course the lens ripped into two pieces, then I would imagine it to be an equally terrible experience as having a wasp on your eye. Re: Pictures - A. Crow - 10-17-2012 HAHAHA, HeK is going to have a mild heart attack, again. That pic is from like, 4ish years ago? Re: Pictures - Luinbariel - 10-17-2012 Yeah HeK is going to be pretty uncomfortable with that. Re: Pictures - Vongore - 10-17-2012 I will never forget Ainmosni with the wasp Re: Pictures - Eightball - 10-17-2012 aw yeah round three Re: Pictures - at0m - 10-18-2012 re: the last page, ew. just ew. Dig the shirt though, eightball Re: Pictures - TOH - 10-19-2012 Behold, watch as I lose 10 years off my age and look dead-eyed in the process! Before. at0m wanted to see this one... There we go. BONUS, haircut! Re: Pictures - VeraLapsa - 10-19-2012 Actually I think you looked younger with the beard. Re: Pictures - Didzo - 10-19-2012 I think some more fashion-forward frames would go a long way. |
