If you are that concerned that people are dwelling on your past actions, then start over. Re-roll a new forum and steam name and avatar, and try again. Go for a half-elf druid instead of trying to make another halfling bard. However, if you continue to act in the future as you have acted in the past, then don't be surprised if you get the same chilly reaction from people.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

I would agree, but thus far all we have seen is an expression of a willingness to learn from mistakes, not the actual change that happens once someone has learned from their mistakes.
