Just take a look at Smogon's stats of Pokemon used on ShoddyBattle, and you'll find a sizable population of pokemon that "nobody likes to play with."
And what does that honor stem from? There no better than regular Pokemon in terms of stats and movesets, and while I agree Zapados, Suicune and Azelf are high tier pokemon, there in no way inherently superior to there more common brethren. If you don't want to use them, that's fine and perfectly understandable (and rather stylish if I do say so myself,) but you can't seriously imply that legendaries are somehow cheap.Tthat's just plain wrong.

The fact goes that legends cannot reproduce, and thus players either get lucky and get a good nature and IVs on the lone one that appears in the game, or don't, getting the exact opposites. This puts some players at a disadvantage.

Lolwut? The same could be said of any Pokemon. Ivs and Natures are always a crapshoot unless you use the proper tools. I won't deny, for legendaries it's harder and more time consuming (which is why I don't play ubers, it's a badass tier, but it's so much work to build a team,) but if that's a reason to deem something "cheap" then all Pokemon with good IVs and EV spreads could be to, as not all palyers have the time to breed and train them
If you want a good legendary, just bring in an Abra to Synchronize the right nature and soft reset away if you don't like the IVs, and, as I've said before, the latter really don't matter unless your playing at the top top tier of play, at which everyone uses ShoddyBattle anyways, so it doesn't matter. Decent IVs work fine, and while 20+ are great, as long as there not bad, you'll do fine.

Don't get all huffy because someone didn't follow your own definition of honor. True honor is standing by your own convictions, even when they blow up in your face. If you tough it out and become victorious, in the end you can smile because you didn't sacrifice what you believe in due to pressure from others.
