It snowed a little last night, but we've had about 5 inches on the ground ever since I came home last week.

I just drove 300 km in white-out conditions, at night, on pure ice.

Thank god for my 75w 3000k fog lights.
And my manual AWD controller, Like a tank.

Would have taken pictures, but was too busy.

It was like this, only you could see much less. And it was at night. For those of you who do not know, your headlights actually don't save you here. It's even better if they are kinda dim; the less light, the better you see.

Seriously, btw, no joke. Nothing funner than challenging yourself and getting valuable experience @ the same time. Plus it
s fun as fuck.

It was extremely bad at times, especially where you can see ten feet in front of you, going into a turn and you keep hitting drifts that are 20-50 cm deep.
There were times I had all four wheels off the ground and was sliding over the snow.

There is a city along the way at which the road is notorious for being closed. I am SO surprised that it wasn't when we got there. When I saw all those RCMP guys getting out of the station (and stuck in their drive way) I was sure that we had just missed a cut off and would be stuck in the middle of nowhere or something.

Double post!

Here is the snow in our yard.

HeK shovels the side of the house

... and then the back...

... And then the front.

I'm in Maine and I can still see the grass. I am getting the below freezing weather though.
