[me=Kirby]flexes[/me]

If this really needs to boil down to a contest in the end, I can still re-enable onboard video on this PC, turn on CrossFireX and hook a 3rd up here, turn onboard video on the 2nd PC on and hook 2 more up to it, and then plug a 2nd into the laptop and have a total of 8 =x

Yes, I have that many more monitors stitting in my basement. =x

My primary screen is an HD TV.

Yay for multitasking.

Now I just feel like crap...  agh, damn my minimal income.

Might just pick up one of those 1080p 1980x1200 monitors. At least that way I can avoid some of that "lol we do 16:9 only" crap have a bigger monitor.

Only 1680 x 1050.

But it's a few years old.

Samsung has some very inexpensive 2048x1152 16:9 monitors. I saw them for $160-23"/$170-24" here in Canadaland.
The wider aspect ratio doesn't help for documents/websites unless you rotate the screen, or open two documents side-by-side.
