Actually, I'm totally wearing my companion cube shirt on my date today.

Get with the times Spons that was last month.

What silly culture would ever believe New Years falls on February 14th? :V
That's almost as silly as people celebrating the massacre of so many Native Americans by eating a turkey or something.

Re: Valentine's Day - KorJax - 02-14-2010

Went on a "date" to the Cheesecake Factory last night:

Pretty fancy place.  Food was good.  Wait to get in was about an hour or so.

I'm not sure if I like the guy as date-able material though.  He's nice, and we have plenty of common interests, and have hanged out a couple of times before but he just had this whole "backseat" (or confused?) aura in his personality... I dunno if it's just because it's because hes nervous around me, I make him feel uncomfortable, if it's because it was a "first date" or if that's the legit personality he has.

The guy normally shy?

Re: Valentine's Day - KorJax - 02-14-2010

Well he could be considered a geek type.  He did cross country and such, so I wouldn't doubt it if he was shy.  Hell I'm kinda shy myself, I just got the feeling that I was either making him uncomfortable or that he was totally disinterested... or it could have been he was totally freaking out inside and overcompensating by being a bit laid-back and passive for the evening.

I don't know if it should be considered it an official date though since he says he was doing it for my birthday in a couple of days even though when he first asked me he used the phrase "asking me out" Tongue

Re: Valentine's Day - Didzo - 02-14-2010

Which Cheesecake Factory is that? I know that they all share similar decor, but I feel like I might have been to that one...

Re: Valentine's Day - CorpseFactor - 02-14-2010

I think you can chalk it up to first date nervousness if it were a date.

Finally catching up and taking the lady to see the Hurt Locker tonight.  Bad choice for a V-day movie, or no?
