Re: Just Cause 2 - Spore - 03-16-2010 Infinite grapple mod: Not available on plebeian console versions. Just Cause 2 BOLOpatch Multi-hook 20 buses I still think this thread should be in Big Boys. Re: Just Cause 2 - Maxon - 03-17-2010 I finally spent a full half hour just running around three villages lol I didn't expect the story to be any good, but I'm liking the game. It's so wildly fun. You can go all Master Chief in the game, ripping off mini-guns and walking around with those bad boys, or lay remote bombs on a giant sky crane and blow it up. I only wished it had some Red Faction: Guerilla styled building destruction for things that aren't all about chaos earning, but that's asking for abit much I think, heh. Also a new article said they have lots of DLC planned, meaning they'll try and keep the game fresh long after it comes out this month. LMAO at 1:21 this game is insane Re: Just Cause 2 - Spore - 03-22-2010 Bought. Re: Just Cause 2 - Maxon - 03-22-2010 I'm heading out to grab it in 45 minutes. Should be fun ^^ Re: Just Cause 2 - backfire - 03-23-2010 Wait... crap. Now I'm stuck between this and Cave Story... Damn it! > They're both equally as awesome. Re: Just Cause 2 - Maxon - 03-23-2010 Game is a blast. Story is pretty open world generic, but there is alot of terrain to cross in this game. It's like if Mercenaries was REALLY good. Combat is smooth and easy, using the grapple to get around is fun and I just love tying vehicles to the ground. Won't always stop them, but it is so rewarding to watching them and roll. Tie them to the edge of bridge and it'll throw them off. I love just wandering around and blowing up stuff. There are no real restrictions, you can go anywhere, jack any vehicle, you can upgrade weapons some unlockable vehicles. The one fault of the game is no co-op. It's pretty unbelievable that a game this open and all this freedom and things to destroy...and you can't even do it with a buddy. It's almost too glaringly bad not to have implemented, but with the fun I'll have in this game, I can look it over this one time. I'm actually praying that they just ran out of time with the game. They've talked about wanting to do considerable DLC for the game, so maybe they can implement it afterwards, which I would pay all sorts of money to have lol Re: Just Cause 2 - Vandamguy - 03-23-2010 full version demo out for the pc now. Re: Just Cause 2 - Vandamguy - 03-24-2010 seriously why are you guys still running windows xp ? 'becuase' is not a legitimate reason. I know 7 is great, but I will probably just upgrade to it when I upgrade my PC or build an entirely new one. |
