Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - Didzo - 04-21-2010 Okami definitely deserves to be on that list. Not sure if this counts... But Spore can be used to create "art" creations. Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - Versus - 04-21-2010 MGS series, MGS4 = oh my god Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - PyroZombie - 04-21-2010 (04-21-2010, 05:28 PM)Versus-pwny- link Wrote: MGS series, MGS4 = oh my godI concur sir, I don't know Hideo can disagree. There is a certain art in the god of war series, sure it's overly brutal and bloodfilled to be called a contemporary piece, but it's more a showing of theater art, mainly the style greek tragedy, more so revealed by it's ending. Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - Wyrmidon - 04-21-2010 I am quite surprised Killer7 was not mentioned yet. It has stylized violence, good artwork, and an artsy storyline that is hard to understand (hence artsy ). But I have to agree that MGS4 is effin amazing. Last fight was great. All in all, I really enjoyed watching MGS4. Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - Versus - 04-21-2010 i need to play Killer7 god the last fight in mgs4 owns Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - liquid108 - 04-21-2010 Cloud length: 30mins to an hour genre:uhh indie? not quite sure. Cloud is by far one of the most artsy games i have ever played. you are just like kid in the skies that goes and collects clouds. i cant really explain it too well, but it is absolutely fantastic. Re: Games that could be art - a list for Ebert - Eschatos - 04-22-2010 Fuck that. Every game ever made is art, it's only a question of how good or bad it is. Fucking Madden is art, if shitty.
