I think the first post was about wanting friends, and every post after has been about the break-up. I think that's probably the main thing right now.

Just take some time. We are hear to listen.  Smile

Atom gets poon off of it, I got pressured into it by another friend, since then 6 dates, 2 repeats, soon to be 7 this weekend

I echo what Vandam says, use online tools to find people -> meet IRL

unless they are fake...

Just answer a bunch of match questions and don't be a creepy twat with your messages and most stuff on that site is fairly easy

Re: Making new friends - Surf314 - 06-23-2010

One thing that really helped me was Kung Fu. Seriously find a Kung Fu, Tai Chi or Yoga class in your area and start going. Work on being at peace with yourself. With Kung Fu I learned a lot about feeling comfortable in my skin and confident in myself. An added bonus was the feeling of security you get feeling like no one can hurt you. But Kung Fu is really hard on your body and I don't think I'd go back to it without being in great shape. Tai Chi or Yoga on the other hand might be a perfect fit for you. You will get the same benefits mentally and physically, and you might meet some people that share similar interests. No one does those things without being open minded.
