Seriously, I have a computer engineering minor and I don't think I ever actually bought a programming or electronics book. The one time the professor said, "you must have the book, show me your copy of the book" I let my epic beard devour his soul and left his smouldering husk standing at the front of the class, it collapsed upon itself when I slammed the door on my way out.
