Re: Gaming Mice - Eightball - 06-19-2014 (06-18-2014, 08:18 PM)Eschatos link Wrote: I like my Logitech G500, but the mouse wheel is kinda shitty. Normally I'm only annoyed by the too-low friction, meaning it keeps on rolling for a while unless I manually stop a scroll. Now there's a new problem: a few days ago when I was playing Stalker, I found that the wheel is also way oversensitive. The game constantly picks up minute movements and thinks that I want to switch weapons when I don't. I suppose part of the fault lies with the Stalker devs, but still, it never happened with my old G5. Not enough to make me buy a new mouse but still irritating. You are using the lock function right? The G500 has a free-spinning and a "notched" scroll setting, switchable by the button just south of the mouse wheel. If I play anything and leave it in free-spinning, I have accidental weapon switch and fuck-ups like you're describing. Re: Gaming Mice - Duck, Duck, Goose - 07-02-2014 As someone who's always enjoyed having a gaming laptop and taking it everywhere... http://www.razerzone.com/ca-en/gaming-mice/razer-orochi/ Been using it since 2009 now, ordered the new model at the end of last year when the scroll wheel on the first one died. It's comfy as hell, I hate regular mice now.
