If people can include a little pitch on the game they are promoting.  Like what will we all be doing playing together? Will we be having fun?

GMod Tower

It's a social-centric party game gamemode for GMod.  There are no levels or anything, and the progress you get is hats(!!!!!) and other accessories and skins.  The games are fun, and it's super casual, and the requirements are Garry's mod, which goes on sale every 3 weeks for less than a dollar, TF2 which is free and CS:S.  To install it all you need is to subscribe to this workshop collection.  Also:

Quote:Each game can be played with 4-90 players

There are several game modes and I have not even played them all, but the ones I have played so far were a lot of fun.  I think this would be a good break from our usual FPS nights.

I've been pretty negligent about hosting CS:GO nights. We have a couple of days of the week set, but turnout is inconsistent--that probably stems from me not regularly advertising and hosting it.

I know we already have in the realm of up to 20 members who will play, so let me ask this: Tuesday and Saturday (or was it Friday?) are our in-house nights. Which would you lot prefer to be a competitive night, and which a casual night?

I want to try to host a PS night on Saturday, maybe CSTuesdays, like we used to have TFT

Are there wacky custom maps for us to use?

Workshop map integration can allow us to quickly throw together whatever user made maps are in the workshop, download and play them automatically without ever having to open the maps folder (on client or server).

It's a double edged sword though, using this rotation method causes an aberrant map name to show up on the server browser (eg "Workshop/113055" instead of de_dust2). Whether this is inherent to the method or the result of source mod causing problems, it remains an impediment to attracting randos through the community server browser.

Also, can alltalk be a thing, cause that helps make it a thing - no mumble too, cause randos

Yes, that cvar works the same as in tf2. Global mute will be critical though, and as such all BRBU members are intended to have access to sourcemod admin commands.
