Poolday was fun, and I think it has a place as a tomfoolery map on #2. Really liked Sawmill though, and thought it certainly deserves an RTV spot on #1, and maybe even rotation with a little work done to it.

hey, hey, hey, HEY GUIZ. im making a map, im going to put like 4 days of work into it. and im wondering if;

#1 some people will playtest it and maybe help edit it with me
#2 if its good, can we kinda add it to a trial rtv or something?

map details: well its a simple map, the only thing planned before hand is the fact that it has 4 control points. im winging the layout, but trying to make it as symmetrical as i can. so far i got the red spawn point and the 1st CP. i need to add a door (posing an issue so far, cant find a good tutorial). also, do people usually add lights to tf2 maps, i mean most maps look KINDA fullbright compared to when i add lights to my map.

We always test community maps.  Talk to caff, I'm sure it can get in on TFT this week.

Always add lights to your map.  Fullbright looks awful, and will turn a lot of people off from playing it.  Striking a balance on lighting can be tough, but it's worth putting the time to make sure you get a good looking result when you are finished.

put the func door on the dynamic entity? meh im kinda borked in the brain right now. i gotta just get the blue respawn done. its not an amazing map, straightforward, no terrain just flat floors. some maze like activity. its like this. red base and blue base are final cp points. there are middle ones that exist (2 of them). im not making frill or anything. its SIMPLE. lol. umm lighting ill do later. some reason hammer wants to crash the map when i use lights when i play it. no idea why. (im using my basic skills i knew from hl1 qwark

Glad to hear you all liked the maps. They looked fun when I tested them solo, but you never know.
