Do the spray files all have a file system lock on them while a dedicated server is awake?  Or only ones associated with active players?  (cups chin in hand)

What the shit?  Why does it not delete it out after the client disconnects and then recache as needed?

Valve likes to forget to do simple things.

Check your own local folder, you probably have a good cache of sprays yourself, last time I looked there was a lot of porn

Where specifically would I find this spray folder?

Wow.  Well, I hope that clears it up!

My folder has 1431 sprays from 2007 onward at 89.4 megs - average 64K per spray, scaling that up to our server's 800 megs, I was a little off on my estimate, it comes out to roughly 12,800 files

PM me another traceroute and I'll open the ticket back up

Ticket Response to me questioning that its a level 3 routing issue

Quote:Ticket NXZ-57771 has been updated by Zachary Williams [staff].

You are correct, and it is not actually where it shows up in the trace coming to us.  There is an issue where Level3 hands off traffic to verizon on the reverse route, causing problems with verizon customers.

There is nothing we can do to repair it, as it is not something we have control over.  It should not be a permanent issue though.

Thanks,

Zachary Williams

Frag. Not Lag.

Thankfully it should be temporary, if it persists, complain to Verizon
