It reminds me of the railgun in quake, pin point accurate, does an ass-ton of damage, especially if you hit in the head

It's weaker than the standard revolver if you don't headshot and is far from accurate past your first shot (I've never seen anyone fire it and wait for the aim cool down unless they're playing ghetto sniper with it). It can be good for taking down a wounded 125 class in one shot or dropping a W+M1 pyro in two, but otherwise the risk isn't worth the reward for me. I just seem to get a lot more kills with the old revolver, which is still as stupidly powerful as ever (and I will usually win a gun battle against another spy using the ambassador). I would agree it's probably the most balanced sidegrade with a real choice to be made so far though.
