I would support some other boon, like... all medics on the field, bonus 25% - 50% into the ubercharge meter.  Or, something simpler like everyone gets a magic refill of ammo.  I want to see if there's something besides 10s kritz that would make "wait, wait, don't cap... OKAY CAP NOW" a neat twist on CTF. Re: Crits on CTF Capture - KorJax - 08-14-2009 I like it. It makes CTF more fun since well, everyone on the team gets pretty much a 10-second "humilition" against the other team, which is enough incentive for me to want to cap. Plus it prevents CTF stalemates, if you cap it gives you a short steamroll effect. CTF is NOTORIOUS for stalements and dead-end stuff, this crit boost spices things up a little. In that time, you could run in, grab the flag and get out killing anyone who tries to stop you. Even in CTF deathhall, which is the smallest map ever, that wasn't really an issue. Mostly because not everyone plays scouts, and sentries > scouts. And as we all know crits don't do anything against sentries. I say, though, that maybe it needs a little more testing before the kritz is turned off. If it turns out to be an issue, shorten it or turn it off. If it really isn't much of an issue, don't. I'm sure nobody complains when THEY get the crits, just when the other team does.
