Also, does it rank medic points? Medics should go up in rank points whenever they heal so many people and activate an uber, other wise we only get 2 points for every assist and lost anywhere from 2-15 for every death. SUCKS ;D. [/quote] I can't directly control the points for a kill. You get them based on your score and the score of the person you killed. This way players new to the server have a chance to catch up to the ones that have been around for awhile. Unfortunately it scores based on action logs the game server generates, which as far as I can tell does not explicitly track healing. It tracks direct, one off actions, as in "x person(s) just did y action" kind of thing. Shame too, because I'd love for healing (and teleporter usage) related points to count (because those are important too). To try and counter that a little I set ubercharges to be worth more points. Re: Ranks - Vandamguy - 06-16-2008 how come the running scores stopped displaying on the client side, to let me know that someone just got 10 pointes for killing me or so Re: Ranks - Kor - 06-16-2008 (06-15-2008, 06:07 PM)CaffeinePowered link Wrote: Me: 2.1502 Protip: Assist points aren't considered for K ratios. Being an engineer is tedious yet important work. Also, several pocket medics on you while playing heavy isn't skill on your end, just the medics. <3 Re: Ranks - Budr - 06-16-2008 (06-16-2008, 09:13 AM)Kor link Wrote: Protip: Assist points aren't considered for K ratios. It rewards you for which class you play over your skill level. Re: Ranks - Dave - 06-16-2008 Lol im 16thwith scout, so playing scout doesnt hurt your hlstatx lololll 563 scattergun kills wut? Re: Ranks - copulatingduck - 06-16-2008 K doesn't mean shit if you play medic alot. Kills/min doesn't mean shit if you play a lot when the servers are mostly empty, you just don't get as much action in a 3v3 match as you do in a 12v12 match. Really, even kills as a certain class don't mean shit if you mostly play during Scrub Hour (ie morning and early afternoons when the servers are empty). The only thing that fucking matters is how many people wanna be on your team. It's NOT how big your e-peen is, it's how POPULAR it is. Between Kor and Caff, I'd rather play on Kor's team; as long as you're on the point, he's less demanding, none of this "medic me pl0x." Maybe if you were "thunder drunk" more often, I would've voted for you Caff. Sorry. :-[ xoxo, CD :-* Re: Ranks - ainmosni - 06-16-2008 MOM, DAD, PLEASE STOP FIGHTING!
