tf2 on the xbox was actually very fun, using a controller made being a good soldier or demo that much harder to be. It just had absolutely no auto aim so sniper and scout were extremely difficult to use (although I got pretty damn good at sniping). It's just that after months and months of empty promises, valve never updated it. ever. there's still sky walking. and then someone hacked the servers and made half of the games ultra low gravity. also only the 6 original maps.

holy crap that's hilarious. Reminds me of how broken Halo 2 was, people replaced the bullets from the smg with rockets or sniper rifle bullets, they would get on top of the skybox, there was superjumping, super speed running, aimbots...
allegedly someone hacked a gun so that it fired the train from one of the multiplayer maps, I've never bothered to check youtube for this (and i'm at work right nowÂ

Yeah, at one point one of my friends modded his xbox and we were able to shoot metro trains with the plasma pistol. On xbox live multiplayer.
He also had a bunch of other mod stuff on his box, and we'd get out of the map and build forts and shit.

We had like an hour to fit in 8 or so years of xbox live culture behavior. I think it was just fine.
EDIT: come to think of it, we were being pretty modest. I had live from halo 2 to gears 2, so I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to confirm this.
