Re: Super Nintendo - Tragic Hero - 04-03-2008

+3 plus times eh?  Thats almost as hardcore as me playing through Chrono Trigger 10+ times so that I could max out everyones power/speed/magic with all the tabs.  I would have to say though that Earthbound had one of the most rewarding boss battle/ending in any video game that I have played.

Re: Super Nintendo - Eschatos - 04-03-2008

Anyone know where the Earthbound guide is online?  I'm having some trouble without it.

I played a nearly flawless translated rom of it years ago. The translation was perfect, just a few easily ignored sound glitchs once in a blue moon.

Re: Super Nintendo - Squishy3 - 05-27-2008

Real gamers have a Famicom Twin. Screw the SNES.

Re: Super Nintendo - ScottyGrayskull - 05-27-2008

Heh, speaking of the SNES... I'm still looking around for someone locally who can do this to my SNES. It'd be nice to be able to play PAL games. Smile

I have very limited experience with soldering, but even if I did I don't think I have the steady hands to do that to the tiny lockout chip. :S

Lolwut? Wall of text needs pics. Also, for you Mr. Shaky Hands, try hot-glue and straws.  Tongue

Re: Super Nintendo - Vandamguy - 05-27-2008

Re: Super Nintendo - copulatingduck - 05-27-2008

I got shaky hands also. Was not good for my Instrumentation class where we had to make our own filters. I fried so many Op-amps that way  Sad

Re: Super Nintendo - Ceceil Felias - 05-30-2008

I still have (US) Final Fantasy 2 & 3 carts somewhere.

Aside from that, I have nothing spectacular. All I can say is that the SNES Shadowrun kinda sucks IMO. :/ The Genesis one was better.

i bought my super nintendo just for secret of mana...  /nostalgia

I put SoM ringtones on my phone... And FFVII victory fanfare, which gets me geek props when it goes off during class, the engineering & physics students get it, the social science guys don't; I pity them.

I should probably play earthbound, I only played it for like 3 hours at a friends house, so long ago....
