Not sure if people care (I'm forcing myself to in an effort to stop caring about my Gametracker stats Tongue), but if you change your name with the brb tag it counts as a new name in the server's Gametracker players list.

Hmmm... I wonder if that means I could come on as someone else's name and ruin their Score/min. Tongue

Yea, but I don't believe it resets your stats. In other words, I used to be copulatingduck[f-a-g], but changed back to just copulatingduck. The *[f-a-g] name has all the stats I had when I switched back, and the "copulatingduck" picked up where those stats left off. The only annoyance is all the leaderboard spam you can get from people changing their names too much.

Nvm, it does count as a completely new player. Tongue

Proof

Re: Member tags for our new domain - Vandamguy - 04-30-2008

i suggest that the tag solution never be formalized.
why does it need to be?

if someone likes it this way or that way. both can work and communicate the same message.

make your own tag up

im  -brb:u- for now.

Re: Member tags for our new domain - Vandamguy - 04-30-2008

I like brbu, but I'm not a fan of clan tags.

Where's my invite? >.<

EDIT: Nevermind. Public group is public.

Re: Member tags for our new domain - ainmosni - 05-02-2008

I like [BRB!u] a lot myself but because it's not a clan we should use braces or parentheses. I don't like the tags with -brb!u (or any variety of that) at the end because they look kinda sloppy IMHO.

So until we all agree on one, I'm using ainmosni {BRB!u}.

Hey, another idea, we all have different tags, no conformity, just do whatever you want, I think i makes it a little more unique and cool looking

Re: Member tags for our new domain - Negate - 05-02-2008

Alright as thread creator it is so. You can use any tag if it relates to our name somehow just if someone i.e. a clan says that you are wearing their clan tag just swap to another one please, we don't need any trouble.
