It's a college prep summer program at Harvard, by Harvard. Having that on the resume is a big foot-in-the-door should you want to go to Harvard for undergrad, or just about anywhere else.

I'm not planning on going to Harvard, but...I do have a pair of twin cousins who both went to Harvard.
Also, my freshman year, and, to a lesser degree, my sophomore year of high school was not very impressive. :-Xjorge would kill to have this German keyboard, with all of its ö kind of keys.

Mate, I've had a 2.7 unweighted GPA most of high school and I still got offered a $26,000 scholarship and $1,000 of other financial aid from the Honors College. It's all about the SATs (and how many hits your name turns up on Google).

Also, I wanna get into Caltech/MIT. They're my first choices; otherwise, Rice or some other good college; otherwise, UT Dallas (basically the branch that seems to focus on engineering) and hopefully a good scholarship.

Yo, if you are still looking at schools, carnegie mellon is pretty badass CS school as well. Of course, I am a dumbass and ended up at NYU, but still. We have a guy who did shit for HL2 on our teaching staff, good enough for me.
