Not really. "jorge = all" is an assignment, not a comparison. Re: My recent encounter with Steam support. - hawtpawkithero - 07-07-2008 They closed it again... reopened it. They did everyone who had previously purchased certain games a "solid" and now you're expecting them to adjust their policy to suit your needs. To me, it seems analogous to going into a store, seeing a two-for-one offer and demanding the same privilege on an entirely different product. Unless I'm missing something. I'm kinda with budr, if they never said they would do this for tf2 theres no reason they should Re: My recent encounter with Steam support. - Vandamguy - 07-08-2008 (07-08-2008, 08:06 AM)Dave link Wrote:
I'm kinda with budr, if they never said they would do this for tf2 theres no reason they should
don't try to be reasonable, he's american. I totally agree, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to annoy the fuck out of them for pissing me off. I don't think it's like that... It's like if you bought your game two times, but only once cd-key because you are only one customer. Hawtpawkit did buy TF2 two times, but he gets it only once, I think he is right and not valve here. The thing is that it is not a "gift" from valve, but from hawtpawkit. Now if I bought two tickets for an event (any event, but both at same place and at the same time), but that only I can use (fact that I would not be aware of), I'd at least would want my second ticket refunded. Re: My recent encounter with Steam support. - Eschatos - 07-08-2008 That is weird. I didn't have any problem with gifting my second copies of Half Life 2 and HL2: Episode 1 that came with The Orange Box. Good job reading. They said it was a special promotion for those two games only.
